Here's some good news for vasaikar:By the end of this month, Mumbai will have its first 15-coach local. It will be flagged off by Railway Minister Mamata Banerjee.Initially, the train is expected to run between Dadar and Virar. It is expected to halt at Andheri, Borivli and Vasai which have long platforms.
The train will also be the longest EMU (electric multiple unit) in the world. It will have 20 per cent more carrying capacity than the existing locals.
