Disadvantages Students excelling in certain sports prefer to join institutes that have facilities to improve their skills but the online system does not allow that. It does not give students advantage under sports quota. It does give an advantage to students to students under the sports quota, but the college allotted may not have the infrastructure.
Those interested in minority colleges under the reserved quota (50%), will have to apply offline. They can go for other colleges. But if someone cancels his admission to a minority college and opts for another institute, the state cannot keep tabs on the seats. At the end of the process, if a college cannot fill up all its minority-quota seats, it has to surrender them to the state.
If you do not get into a college of your choice, the computer will allot you a seat on the basis of stream, medium of instruction and zone Source
