Full From of IEC Code is : “Importer Exporter Code ”. To import or export in India, IEC Code is mandatory. No person or entity shall make any Import or Export without IEC Code Number.

IEC Code Online Application Form
1)The application can be download Form in PDF or Word. This is called "Aayaat Niryaat Form - ANF2A". Along with IEC Code Number Application Form it is necessary to submit Appendix-18B Attested by Applicant's Banker in his letter head with two passport size photo).
2) Request letter on your company's letter head for issue of new IEC
3)Application fees (Challan/DD) of Rs.1000/- in favour of the licencing office (example:-in case of Chennai office it should be in favour of 'Jt.DGFT,Chennai' .
4. Bank Certificate as per Ann.1 to Appendix 3 (on bank's letter head) duly signed by branch manager or higher authority.
5. Two photographs of signatory duly pasted on the backside of Appendix -3 at the place provided for it and attested by the bank. One extra photo in loose with the application.
6. Declarations as follows
* I/We, hereby, declare that the Proprietor/partners/directors/karta of firm/co. is/are not associated as proprietor/partners/directors/karta of firm/co. which has been caution listed by the RBI. * In case of non resident interest/investment in the firm/co.only : declaration as per sr.No.5 as on the back side of Appendix 3 should be given.
7. Copy of PAN issuing letter or PAN card.
8. Self addresses envelope with Rs.25/- postal stamp for delivery of IEC certificate by registered post.or challen/DD of Rs.100/- for speed post.

10. Submit it the the Zonal office of the director of Foreign Trade. 12. The certificate shall be couriered to you.
